About Red Cross Racing

Red Cross Racing is designed to increase the number of blood donors and the number of times they donate. The online donor rewards program recognizes NASCAR fans who give blood frequently by offering participants new and exciting rewards for blood donation activities.

The American Red Cross provides more than 40% of the blood supply in the United States. The need for blood is constant - every two seconds somebody in the nation needs blood. NASCAR fans, which make up about one-third of the U.S. population, are well-known for being giving, civic-minded, and patriotic people. Red Cross Racing is an innovative program designed to encourage NASCAR fans to donate blood through the Red Cross to help ensure patients have the blood they need when they need it.

Thanks to a generous donation by 3M Company, the Red Cross will have two full paint schemes on the Roush Fenway No. 16 Ford Fusion this racing season. Look for us at the racetrack on 6/27/2010 in New Hampshire and on 11/07/2010 in Texas. We are proud to be part of the exciting world of NASCAR.

You can accrue points for Red Cross Racing to exchange for prizes in three ways:

1. A one-time registration bonus of 50 points for first time users
2. Reporting your blood donation activity online
3. Referring friends to the program using the Refer Your Friends link

1. Donate: January 16, 2010 through January 15, 2011
2. Report donations: January 16, 2010 through January 24, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM CST
3. Exchange points for prizes: February 1, 2010 through January 31, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM CST

Team Competition

Individual Red Cross Racing Program participants are able to join or form a team. Point totals for each team member will be combined to determine the overall team point total. Individual points redeemed do not affect the overall team point total and/or standings

Division One teams have between 101-300 members. Division Two teams have 100 or less members. A team owner is the only member of the team who can add/invite new members, remove members, upload team logos, and write new message boards. A team member can remove themselves from a team by clicking on the 'Start a Team' link on the homepage, and clicking the 'Leave Current Team' link. Team Prizes: #1 Ranked Team (Div. 1 & 2) - Grand Prize

• The #1 ranked team in each division will receive an Autographed Full Size Replica 2010 Greg Biffle American Red Cross Helmet (awarded to Team Owner on behalf of the entire team).
• The Team Owner of the #1 ranked team in each division will receive a Red Cross Racing Leather Jacket autographed by Greg Biffle.
• Each team member of the #1 ranked team in each division will receive a custom Red Cross Racing Team Short Sleeve T-Shirt.

• The Team Owner of the #2 ranked team in each division will receive an autographed 2010 1:24 Scale HO No. 16 American Red Cross Die Cast Car and letter from Greg Biffle.
• Each team member of the #2 ranked team in each division will receive a custom Red Cross Racing Team Short Sleeve T-Shirt.

• The Team Owner of the #3 - #10 ranked teams in each division will receive a 2010 1:24 Scale HO No. 16 American Red Cross Die Cast Car autographed by Greg Biffle.
• Each team member of the #3- #10 ranked teams in each division will be awarded 100 Bonus Donor Rewards Points for 2011 (pre-loaded in their accounts at the start of the 2011 program).

Fantasy Racing

The Red Cross Racing Fantasy Racing Game is a game based on the race results of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season. Each participant is to be allowed to choose five drivers for each race and receive points based on the finishes of their picks. These points are separate of donor rewards points and cannot be exchanged for prizes.

Each week, users' will pick five cars/drivers for the race. Your initial selections will automatically be applied to each race in the season that has yet to be played, unless you change your picks prior to midnight CST on the night before the race.

The first scheduled race that is eligible for this game is on Sunday, February 14, 2010, and the final scheduled race is on Sunday, November 21, 2010.

Participants will receive points equal to the number of points awarded by NASCAR to the drivers that they picked. Points are only awarded for the car number/driver combinations listed on this web site.

Red Cross Racing Hall of Fame Members

Users will be inducted into the Red Cross Racing Hall of Fame upon their second consecutive year of membership where they have reported two or more donation activities per year in both years. Red Cross Racing Hall of Membership is signified by a badge on the user's homepage that they will see in the right column upon login. All inductees to the hall of fame will be notified via email before their status is updated. Hall of Fame members are eligible for an additional 50 bonus points for donating during bonus periods.

Bonus periods for 2010 are based on donation activity during the dates listed below:

• Thursday July 1, 2010 through Monday July 5, 2010
• Friday September 3, 2010 through Friday September 10, 2010
